Pacific Sound and Vision is a nonprofit, LA public benefit corporation with IRC § 501(c)(3) status.
It is organized under the Nonprofit Public Benefit Corporation Law for charitable purposes.

SPONSOR

To sponsor, promote, and encourage artistic practice between cultures of the Pacific Rim. Special interest is paid to popular and experimental music

PROMOTE

To promote an understanding of (and appreciation for) the performing arts, especially with regard to marginalized talent(s). 

EDUCATE

To engender and extend educational activities concerning the performing arts of the Pacific Rim. UCLA faculty play a key role in this enterprise.

ENCOURAGE

To encourage the development of contemporary performers or artists – regardless of economic or educational context

SHARE

To nurture multigenerational cultural exchange in the performing arts. Distributed networks become a guiding metaphor.
